Abstract: One of the fundamental predictions of Lambda CDM on galaxy scales is that dark matter halos are in general triaxial.  I will consider the co-evolution of triaxial dark matter halos and discs, including the changes in shape and the orbital distributions.  The currently best model of the Milky Way's dark matter halo, based on modelling the Sagittarius Stream, has that the Milky Way's disc is perpendicular to the intermediate axis of the halo.  I will show that such a configuration is not possible, and discuss another alternative.  Finally I provide an interpretation for why red and blue galaxies are different in their dark matter halo orientations
