Nonlinear clustering, voids and scaling in the halo model
Title: Nonlinear clustering, voids and scaling in the halo model
Speaker: Professor Jim Fry, University of Florida
Time and location: 2pm, Friday (Jan. 13). 3rd floor middle conference room
Abstract: The popular halo model has implications that go beyond its usual applications to the autocorrelation function or power spectrum in the nonlinear regime. I examine how the model holds up in its predictions for higher order correlation functions of both mass and number and for halo number distributions, and I revisit the scaling behavior of void probabilities.
All are welcome!
